    The Seven Ages is the most touching painting I find here. It beautifully brings out the plight of widows. The eyes of the widows painted here say so much. Their drooped neck cry of their shattered self-respect, vanished dreams. It beautifully brings out the contrasts of life- marriage on one side and widows on the other.

    A very touching painting indeed…

    And kudos to the artist who has such keen eyes and empathetic heart who brings out the darker shades of life.
