TULIREKHA DEB (DHAR)

BORN: 23rd September 1967 at Jorhat Assam, India.

EDUCATION: 1991 Bachelor of Fine Arts  (Painting) Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal India 1979 Completed 1st & 2nd Year in Vocal Classical Music from  Bhatkande Sangeet Vidyapeeth Lucknow.

PRESENT OCCUPATION: Art Teacher Srimanta Shankar Academy (School Section) Dispur Guwahati since 1995. Regularly conduct Art classes on Sundays at Tulirekha Art School, Guwahati.

SCHOLARSHIP: 1986 to 1991 Merit Scholarship for Proficiency in Fine Arts from the Directorate of Cultural Affairs Government of Assam, India.

AWARDS:  1994 Awarded Two prizes for (i) Excellence (ii) Encouragement in the Poster Section of the Open Poster & Photography Competition on Environmental Themes organised by Assam Science Techonology & Environment Council (ASTEC) Guwahati. 1985 All India Camel Colour Contest.
